Process of Manufacturing a Tanduay Rum

LABORATORY. Our laboratory is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology and handled by expert chemists ensuring that each Tanduay Rhum is carefully blended to perfection.

AGEING. The rhum is aged to maturity in charred oak barrels to acquire a smooth flavor and amber color. The quality of aged rhum is inspected prior to blending.

BLENDING. The aged rhum is blended with water, sugar and other ingredients in order to achieve the spirit's desired level of quality.

FILLING. Each clean bottle goes through a meticulous visual inspection to ensure its spotlessness before passing through a machine that fills the bottle with rhum. Bottles first undergo a thorough mechanical cleansing & rinsing process, then are subjected to strict quality control inspection before being transferred to the bottling lines.

CAPPING. Each filled bottle then passes through a pilfer proof capping machine which seals the bottle with an aluminum cap that guarantees its authenticity.

LIQUOR INSPECTION . After the bottles have been filled and capped, these are thoroughly inspected to ensure compliance with worldwide quality standards.

LABELING. The bottles then pass through a pick and stick type labeling machine where the front, back and neck labels can be applied simultaneously.

LABEL INSPECTION. Each labeled bottle passes through label inpectors who check for possible labeling defects. An encoder identifies each bottle for control purposes.

FINAL INSPECTION . The finished products are scrupulously examined by experienced quality inspectors according to Tanduay's superior standards.

PACKING. Each Tanduay Rhum is packed by 12's,24's & 30's according to its product line and bottle size. The cartons then pass through a taping machine where the top and bottom flaps are sealed.
